The high-density, low-loss Multi-Channel Mux Demux features an integrated optical circulator and is designed for long-haul transmission in passive DWDM networks. This versatile unit can function as both a multiplexer and de-multiplexer, adhering to the ITU-T G.694.1 100GHz grid. When combined with external components such as transponders and amplifiers, the Mux Demux supports a diverse array of network architectures and applications, ranging from basic point-to-point connections to amplified ring configurations.

The Multi-Channel Mux Demux is packaged in a space-saving 1U 19-inch, 4-inch depth rack mount chassis, facilitating easy installation and modularity. This chassis-based system provides network equipment manufacturers with a more scalable and higher-density solution to integrate DWDM functionality into their existing and new networks using a simple pluggable interface.
